In accordance with the description of the procedure for the organization of the election of elders of the municipality of Anykščiai district (hereinafter – Description) approved by the Anykščiai District Municipal Council in 2023. August 31 decision no. 1-TS-260 “Regarding the approval of the description of the procedure for the organization of the elections of elders of Anykščiai district municipality” we invite you to nominate candidates for the position of aldermen of Anykščiai city and wards aldermen of Anykščiai district municipality.
Candidates for aldermen can be nominated by adult residents who have declared their place of residence in the territory of the alderman and community organizations operating in the alderman.
An adult resident of the eldership can be proposed as a candidate for the eldership, who has declared his place of residence in the eldership where his candidacy is proposed for the eldership.
When nominating candidates for aldermen, the following must be submitted along with the nomination:
- written consent of the candidate (the appendix is published on the website www.anyksciai.lt);
- a copy of the candidate’s identity document;
- candidate’s curriculum vitae (CV);
- photo of the candidate, 3×4 cm (the photo is returned to the candidate who is not elected to the position of elders);
- photo of the candidate on electronic media (intended for publicity during the election).
- consent to processing the candidate’s personal data (the appendix is published on the website www.anyksciai.lt);
- signature collection sheets with the signatures of at least 10 voters who support (nominate) the candidate (adults who permanently live in the territory of the senate). Stamped election papers are issued for the elections of the elders of Anykščiai city councils at the Anykščiai district municipal administration “One-stop shop”, (J. Biliūno str. 23, Anykščiai), for the elections of councilors – in the councils;
- a copy of the minutes of the meeting or its extract, if the candidate is proposed by a community organization.
The schedules, description, and necessary attachments for the elections to the positions of the elders of Anykščiai city and wards are published on the website of Anykščiai district municipality www.anyksciai.lt in the general news section (date of publication 2023-09-05).
